Years ago, when Peanut was the same age as Miss 4 year old, I had a YouTube channel focused on cross stitching. It didn’t run for long but my obsession for cross stitching did. Like my other hobbies, I jumped in with both feet and bought -everything- I could possibly need. It definitely helped that the small little town we lived in then actually had a cross stitch store. Which was a shock because besides bars, churches and a few decent restaurants that was the only thing we had – everything else was a 30-45 minute drive depending which way you went out of town.
Anyways, geesh Megan stay focused. A couple days ago I wanted to craft but nothing I was currently working on. I found an old cross stitch project in my WIP basket that I worked on for about 5 minutes when I realized I didn’t like it anymore. But I did want to cross stitch. Several rabbit hole trips to Etsy later, I bought several patterns. I dug out all my supplies from the closet and looked for the perfect fabric.

I found this hand dyed Jobelan from Under the sea fabrics and thought it would be a good match. Life is too short to stitch on boring white Aida. Here is my progress so far on day 3. It’s actually sitting on my lap as I write this so it’s as up-to-date as possible.

I’ve had a couple orders for fleece baby dolls that I’ve also worked on this week. And will be applying to vend at an upcoming craft based vendor fair in June. If I end up getting a booth there, you’ll see lots of fleece babies and Peanut Pals.

Until next time, laugh often, love deeply and knit the day away!
