This weekend I decided to get my needle felting supplies out and work on a few projects. I used a kit I got for Christmas to make a cute calico kitty in a pink bunny suit, which was instantly stolen by Miss 4 year old and put in her secret box of goodies – so no pictures of that. But today I finally finished a Gotland inspired sheep I’ve had in progress for several months. Basically just waiting for motivation to finish.

I used ‘waste’ fiber from combing wool for spinning to make the body and Gotland lamb locks for the fluffy outside. There is a frame made from pipe cleaners inside as well but probably wasn’t necessary as the body is firmly felted. I have plans for a few other projects this week as Miss Peanut has asked for a kitty doll as well.
Until next time, laugh often, love deeply and knit the day away!
